Question

On a MI state return, TT filled my medical insurance premiums as $0. This is wrong but fed return never asked for the $ amount. Where do I add my premiums $ amount?

Is there a way to edit this amount just for the state return? Or where do I go to add it in the federal and force it to carry over?

    You can enter either way, in the Federal section, or the State.

    To enter on the federal return, go to 

    Deductions and Credits

    Medical 

    Medical Expenses

    Continue through to "How much did you spend on insurance premiums?" and enter on this screen
