where do i find the code they're looking for

Form IT-225, Schedule B, Part 2, Line 14 is for partners, shareholders, and beneficiaries and starts with code ES. Per the NYS instructions (linked below), the code is ES-901. This line item is the amount of your share (as a beneficiary) of a fiduciary adjustment.

Per the IT-225 instructions, As a beneficiary you may have income from an estate or trust. Any New York modifications that apply to that income, as well as any additions to or subtractions from federal itemized deductions, will be shown in your share of a single fiduciary adjustment.
