On NJ state, they are saying Part D, Line w2 is too small. What are they looking for?

Part D or line D is the control number of the W2. Edit your W2 and completely and either erase the control number or use the suggestion from the Turbo Tax link to use any five-digit number. See if either one of these suggestion resolve the issue.
