Our 2020 State returns for KS and MT have been accepted. Our state return for CA is not on record. They say Turbo Tax didn’t file. Despite producing a transaction #?

The State of CA is saying they have no record of our 2020 filing through Turbo Tax despite producing transmission #. Can it be resubmitted again? At a standstill. Have been charged but nothing to show for it.

I have the same situation.

Where did you get transmission code? I couldn't find it.

But I called Franchise Tax Board and they told me to send them paper duplicate return.

When you say the state of CA says they have no record of your taxes being submitted, are you referring to directly contacting the CA agency that handles your taxes or by tracking your CA State refund?

It is common for you state tax return to not be processed at the same time as your Federal. See the Turbo Tax FAQ for more information on why your State return is still pending.
