Owe state taxes …. HOW !

I updated my W2 and shared the file with Turbo tax and it’s saying I owe 3,600 odd dollars in IL state taxes . Absolutely nothing has changed and they have taken almost 10k from me in withheld taxes . This makes no sense . But when you click the tab “ it says they are having and issue “ can someone assist me please @TurboTaxDR

No one can see your tax return, and we do not know what is in the boxes on your W-2. First----triple check every amount you entered from your W-2. Pay special attention to boxes 16 and 17 to see if they were entered correctly in to the software.

Also you should print out the state return and compare it line by line with last year's return. Maybe you will spot something you left out or entered wrong.
