Pa taxable income

I reside in Pa although worked and paid tax in Ca for about 8 months , Is my income 100% exempt from pa tax or just a portion of it??

No, your income is not exempt for Pennsylvania.  You must file a California nonresident tax return and report the income you earned in California.  You must also file a Pennsylvania resident tax return and report the income- but you will get a credit for the taxes you paid to California.  See Multiple States—Figuring What's Owed When You Live and Work in More Than One State.
