Paying taxes in two states

I moved to Arizona from Missouri in Oct of 2019. I am working on my state taxes and noticed that the AZ state form shows my total earnings for the year and not just the AZ earnings. It took that amount from the AGI on the federal form. It says I owe almost $1900 taxes on about $14,000 of income. What am I doing wrong? Paul [phone number removed]

Sometimes, the order you prepare your state returns causes your return to be wrong.

    • When preparing your state returns, prepare the return for your former state first, followed by the return for the state you currently live in.
    • See How do I file a part-year state return?
    • To delete the state using TurboTax Online, click here.
