I know you cant deduct moving expenses federally, but looks like PA allows this deduction.

I moved Sept 2024 from OR to PA for a new job. Its the same profession/career (pharmacist) that I had in OR. I paid over 5000 dollars for all uhaul/moving expenses; none of my moving expenses were covered by my employer. So when I put theses expenses into turbotax for my PA state return, it doesn't change my refund amount at all, why is that?

Thanks for the reply, but I did put in my moving expenses into the federal part and that information then moved into the PA state return part in Turbotax and it still didnt do anything. Should I delete that section under federal and just reenter it under PA state? Thanks

Yes since PA allows it where Federal does not. Great job!
