Philadelphia employee - moved from NJ to Philly

Hi - I worked for the same Philadelphia employer all of 2023.  I lived in NJ for Jan - April 2023 and moved into Philly for May-Dec 2023.  My W-2 has 2 Philadelphia local taxes - one for resident and one for non-resident.  I'm getting an error message within turbo tax since they both say Philadelphia.  I don't know how to fix this.

Any help is appreciated!

Thank you!

TurboTax does not support the filing of the Local Earned Income Tax (a tax in Philadelphia for people who work there).

You may also be liable for the School Income Tax, a tax for residents that have certain types of income.

Please see this PA page for more information.

It looks like for many taxpayers, the Local Earned Income Tax is collected from employees by the employer, then paid directly to the City so that you do not need to file an Earnings Tax return. Ask your HR department if there is anything that you have to do (like file a return) for the resident tax and the non-resident tax. It's quite likely that you don't.

If you add one of the two numbers in boxes 18-20, you will see the following screen in the PA interview:

But if I am right that your HR department already paid these taxes, you don't need to enter either one of these on your W-2.
