Problem efiling NY return

When I completed my preparation, I was given an error saying I couldn't e-file my NY state taxes because I have a solar and wind energy credit carryover.  I have nothing of the sort and when I went back to review, I couldn't find anything like that.

There may have been a mis-entry of information of data at some point, but, to delete any erroneous data in the New York interview portion of TurboTax Online:

    1. Open TurboTax Online
    2. Select Tax Home in the left pane
    3. On the  Hi, let's keep working on your taxes! screen, select the dropdown on the right side of the State Taxes box, then select StartContinue, or Pick up where you left off
    4. Select  Edit to the right of New York
    5. Proceed through the state interview until you come to the Take a look at New York credits and taxes screen.
    6. Scroll down to Other Tax Credits, and select Start or Update to the right of Nonrefundable Credits
    7. On the Nonrefundable Credits page, delete any entry next to Solar and Wind Energy Credit Carryover
    8. Select Continue
    9. On the Take a look at New York credits and taxes screen, select Continue

    If you're using TurboTax Desktop:

    1. Open TurboTax Desktop
    2. Select STATE TAXES in the banner
    3. Select  New York
    4. Proceed through the state interview until you come to the Take a look at New York credits and taxes screen
    5. Scroll down to Other Tax Credits, and select Start or Update to the right of Nonrefundable Credits
    6. On the Nonrefundable Credits page, delete any entry next to Solar and Wind Energy Credit Carryover
    7. Select Continue
    8. On the Take a look at New York credits and taxes screen, select Continue

If this doesn't work, you may need to delete your New York return and start over again.  See the TurboTax Help article How do I delete my state return in TurboTax Online? or How do I clear my state return in the TurboTax for Windows software?, as appropriate, for guidance.
