To clarify, are you saying you filed 2024 Missouri state return and the state is saying that the refund is delayed because you still owe for tax year 2023?

I have submitted state yet , but entering the data for 2024 , it showing that I owe MO state tax for 2023 , 2023 I lived in Michigan only .
July of 2024 only moved to Missouri. Not sure if it’s application error or I had incorrect data somewhere

Did you only live in Michigan in 2023?
Did Missouri ever show up on your 2023 tax return?
If you haven't filed the state 2024 returns, where are you getting the MO message from?
How does the 2023 information show on your 2024 tax return?
