Questions about the NJ HCC

I received the 1095-C and it stated that I was covered from my current employer, and that I was covered under the company's health insurance medical plan (in October, November, and December 2020).

I also received the 1095-B form, and on it, it stated that I was covered under the NJ Family Care Health Insurance Plan from February 2020 to October 2020. On the "New Jersey State NJ 1040" page, and asks if I "...have an exemption number to enter for months that you did not have minimum essential coverage?". I'm not sure what to select. It also asks "...did I have minimum essential health coverage for every month in 2020"? I am not sure what to put: Yes or No. I was under my family's health insurance plan during the whole month of January 2020. Would that still count as minimum essential health care coverage?

The thing is that I lost my job in February 2020 and applied for the NJ FamilyCare Health Insurance, got a new one in late May 2020 and started it in June 2020, and lost it in July 2020. In August 2020, I got a new job that I enjoyed, and unenrolled in the NJ Family Care Program, and enrolled in my new employer's health insurance plan.

This is my first time going through this situation, and I'm scared I might make a mistake answering this question.

Tell TurboTax you had health insurance all year. Do not check No, I did not have coverage for the whole year.

You said you were covered under your family’s plan in January and your 1095-B showed you were covered from February to October and your 1095-C showed coverage from October to December. That’s the whole year.

Even though you had a few jobs while you were covered by NJ Family Care, according to your 1095-B there were no breaks in coverage If every month was checked from February to October (and you really don’t need October since that was covered by your 1095-C). So you were covered by three plans for the whole year.
