I am an electrician. I live and work in Washington. My employer is based in Oregon. I was sent to Oregon to work for about a week. My W-2 shows Oregon state wages as $1900 and local wages as $2123. I paid $100 in state taxes and $ in local taxes. What form do I file? I tried doing a free online filing and it said I owed almost $5000 i Oregon taxes. HELP! Thank you.

You will need to file an Oregon non resident return.  When you do this, you will walk through the steps to make an adjustment to your income so that you are only claiming the actual amount you earned in Oregon on the return.

If your W-2 only shows income of $1,900, and not your full income, as you walk through the Oregon return, you may have the correct amount reported, but still you will need to walk through all the questions to be sure you are not getting any other income taxed in Oregon.

You will need to contact the local tax jurisdiction to find out how or where to file your local taxes for Oregon.  TurboTax does not cover any local returns in Oregon.
