What do I need to file to get a refund of MD Income Tax withheld from the sale of Nonresident Sale of Real Property (form MW506NRS)?  Non-resident Tax Form indicates $0 refund.  This sale is only MD 'taxable' income Property was inherited at a value = to the sales price so no income was netted. Title company withheld couple of hundred $ based on sales price less selling expenses.

If you reported a Sale of Inherited Property at a Sale Price equal to Cost Basis, you're correct that you have $0 Capital Gains.  The Maryland tax due on the Sale of Real Property by a Non-Resident is reported on Form MW506NRS if you want to check the calculations.

Make sure you included any Maryland Tax paid at the time of the sale.  Here's more info on Deductible Closing Costs on Property Sale and Calculating Cost Basis.
