Hi,

I am a US resident for tax purposes but received 1042-S from the casino. I provided my foreign passport but told them I live in the US (I have lived here for the past 20 years). Can I still file this form even though I am a resident?

Yes, the form is not filed but the income on it is transferred to the appropriate matching form. See 1042S Codes Explained. You may end up entering this as other income with the description of gambling income.
