RMDs on inherited IRAs

I have an inherited IRA where I have to take RMDs and thus received it in 2024. I live in Florida, but the inherited IRA belonged to my mother in PA who passed away in March 2024. Is this distribution (RMD) subject to PA state tax even though I’m a FL resident and there’s no state income tax for distributions in FL?

No.  Once your mother passed away the IRA became yours and state taxation is determined by where you live, not where your mother lived. It is not taxable by PA if you are a Florida resident.
