Should I be asked about a GA return and residence when I have never lived there and did not work there last year?

Why am I being asked about a GA return? I have never lived there and I did not work there last year

You may have inadvertently chose that you made money in another state or entered that you have withholding from GA.

Here are some possible places to check:

In TurboTax, on the left menu, select My info.
On the Personal info summary screen, verify your resident state and Mailing address. Also, make sure Other state income does not have GA.
Verify that your W-2's and 1099-s do not have GA in the state section.
