Should I pay state taxes ?

Hello all,

I did some buying and selling of stocks + crypto on Robinhood in 2023. While checking the tax information for 2023 I found out that my Robinhood account tax information was showing my old address. I left my old address back in 2022 only. The filing deadline is almost near, someone please enlighten me on what should I do in this situation. My current state which I have been living since 2023 does not require state tax but the old one does require it.

A. Nothing, unless there was state withholding (box 16 of form 1099-B).

The fact that your old address shows on the 1099-B (or any other tax form) is meaningless. Even if your old state postal abbreviation is in box 14 of the 1099-B (which is unlikely, you can still ignore it.
