Can you help me understand why my state filing is getting denied?

"Denied"? " Do you mean it is being rejected when you try to e-file it? Did you e-file a federal return and was t accepted? You cannot e-file a state return unless you e-filed the federal and it was accepted. Or--what does the rejection email say when it rejects? We cannot see your screen, your return or your account so we do not know why your state return is being rejected. Tell us the rejection message word for word.
