State downloads for IMAC M3 does not work.

When I progress to the screen to pay before the download I get an error stating "Hmm... it looks like we’ve hit a slight snag".  Was on the support line for 3 hours with a very nice person who really knew nothing about apple products.  They sent me a TTCleanStates.exe for to try.  Come to find out you cannot run an exe file on an IMAC M3.  I was able to download the free state but the second one I am suppose to pay for.  it seems like the next screen pop-up should be the payment screen, but instead a screen comes up with the error message.

You might try logging out and back in, and using a different browser to go online for the payment. Chrome generally works best.

Sometimes part of the screen isn't showing when you go from TurboTax for Mac to a payment screen. If possible, try adjusting the size of your screen or attach a different monitor if you encounter that issue.

Thank you for responding.  These are the things I have tried.  Remember I do get an error that Turbotax does not recognize.

"Hmm... it looks like we’ve hit a slight snag"

Please try again or check back in a bit.

    Try Again
Note: if you click try again it does the same thing.  If you click on close at the bottom of the screen, the screen behind it appears of which I click next.  Then the window goes away and no other window appears. So if I click on the TurboTax button on the bar below because it is still active, it open up as if all my numbers are gone.  So I then have to fully quit and remove it from the bottom launch bar and then restart it and my numbers are back.

    1. Rebooted my IMAC
    2. Uninstalled and reinstalled TurboTax
    3. Downloaded Chrome and made default
