We assume that you are referring to box 20 on your W-2, right?

 

This issue is between the state and your employer. TurboTax simply takes the value in box 20 from your W-2 and places it on your return.

 

You need to ask the state what they think the value should be - we in the Community have no way of knowing. Or pass this rejection of the value in box 20 by the state back to your employer and see if they will follow up.
