Why in the HELL did i just pay $45 to learn that my state refund is $10. Why isn't this shown up front.

Further more why was i only told AFTER i purchased that E-File isn't available in New York.

Why the hell are there so many shady moves like this in such a large program, i understand a company needs to make money but you took this to a whole new extreme level of Bulll**bleep**

Why won't it let you efile NY? In fact in the Desktop CD/Download program NY is free to efile. You have to pay to efile other states. But you can only efile state if Federal was first efiled and accepted.

according to the gentleman I am talking to on the phone, New York City is free but the state of New York is not.

edit: his name is Robby from turbo tax

edit 2: New York state is free. I don't think Robby really knows what he is talking about. We got to the final page right before filing and it states that it is free, but yet i was charge $48.59. Robby is helping me out a lot so i guess i cant complain too much
