State Review: Ineligible for Electronic Filing (New York)
When I run a Review of my taxes, I get one error: "Not eligible for Electronic Filing". The reason given is that Turbo Tax says I am claiming a Solar or Wind Energy credit carryover from a previous year. However, I am not claiming any such credit. Even when I try to go into the credits section and put zero in for each of the previous years, the Review flags it as ineligible for electronic filing for the solar or wind carryover credit. The irony is that New York requires electronic filing. Catch 22. How do I force it past the erroneous Review flag?
