How do I efile my state tax return and have it deducted from my federal instead of mailing it?

    There is no way to deduct state tax due from your federal refund.

     

    You can e-file your state return and have the tax due taken out of your bank account. Go to the File section in TurboTax and change your filing method to E-file from file by mail.
