Received the error;

Return has a W-2 SSN that does not match the taxpayer's or spouse's SSN/ITIN on the return.

My SSN is correct on my W-2.  There is no information on how to correct this error.  What do I do?

    The information flows from the federal into the state forms so the correction has to take place in the federal form

    Confirm that the SSN was entered correctly in the Personal Info Tab.

    Also you can try to delete and re-enter the W-2.

    1. Select Federal from the left menu.
    2. Click on Wages and Income (Or Income and Expenses in Self-Employed)
    3. Scroll down to Wages and Salaries for the W-2
    4. Click on Show More and Revisit
    5. Next to your W-2, click on the icon of the trash can to delete. Then, on the same page, Click on Add another W-2
