I have income earned in Indiana but because of sick time and vacation I have actually lived in NC for the entire year. I try to print the Indiana and NC paperwork to file and there are Indiana forms within the filing documents for NC. Do I need to send them in with my NC paperwork ?

Yes.  Typically, when claiming a credit for taxes paid to another state, the resident state (NC) will require a copy of the non-resident return (IN) showing the double taxed income and the tax liability for the other state.

If printing/mailing your returns TurboTax will include the necessary forms to be sent to each state.
