State tax filing

I have filed my federal return but can't file my Massachusetts return.  I'm told I must first check for a software update, but when I do that I'm told that the software is up to date. When I try again to e-file, I get the same message. I go round and round without success. I see in this forum that others have had the same problem in other states. I've already paid to e-file -- I don't want to have to file by mail!

See the following FAQ, it has a workaround for NY & Massachusetts filers.

"There is an update available for your version of TurboTax" loop when e-filing (Windows)
