While starting my state return I have accidentally entered my pension income where it did'nt  belong. Now I can't find it to remove it . This also increased my federal tax by the same amount. Any help would be greatly appreciated.   Thank you

That information has to be entered in the federal return and then it flows to your state return.  If you made a mistake you have to go back in to the federal return to fix it.   We cannot see your return and do not know where you entered your pension by mistake----did you enter it as a W-2, perhaps?   You will need to find where you entered it on the federal return and delete it from the wrong place.

In your federal software, enter your 1099R for a pension:

To enter your retirement income, Go to  Federal> Wages and Income>Retirement Plans and Social Security>IRA  401 k) Pension Plan Withdrawals to enter your 1099R.
