State tax withholding
I live in MD and work in WV. My paystub shows only WV taxes being withheld. What do I need to do?

You need to file a WV form IT-104NR with the WV employer to get WV withholding stopped, and get MD withholding started.
Look for the link way down on the page of this FAQ:
Which states have reciprocal agreements?

Since WV and MD have a reciprocal tax agreement, you wages in WV, while living in MD are only subject to MD taxation.
IF your eventual W-2 ends up showing both WV and MD withholding (the employer may not be able to get the (already-done) WV withholding reversed)....then, at tax time, you'd need to file a WV nonresident tax return ...indicating ZERO WV wages to get all your WV withholding refunded. MD will not allow you to take a credit for taxes paid to WV, since they expect you to get the WV withholding refunded to you.
