State taxes

I erroneously answered a question when I was filing my state taxes with you on Friday, May 15th. I was sent an Amended form to fill out and mail in.  This does NOT apply to me. You have already e-filed my Federal taxes.  How can I file my state tax again without .  I need to file my state taxes

Please help!

    You should be able to cancel the state amendment process. Every state is different so I can't give you exact instructions. 

     

    Towards the end of the state section, TurboTax will ask whether you want to amend your state return. Say NO.

     

    If your state amend does not cancel, delete the amend form. Without knowing your state, I can't tell you the form. But to delete a form in TurboTax Online:

    1. Click on Tax Tools in the left column
    2. Then Tools
    3. Click on Delete a Form in Tools Center
    4. Go to the state forms. Most amend forms have an "X"
    5. When you are done click Continue With My Return at the bottom
    **Say "Thanks" by clicking the thumb icon in a post**Mark the post that answers your question by clicking on "Mark as Best Answer"
