Hello,

I am not able to edit sections of my California return. I have a dollar amount that Turbo Tax is seeing as a employer contribution when it was contributed pre tax by my wife for her HSA. How can I change this before I file?

    This is a terminology issue.

The IRS calls any contribution made through the employer (i.e. reported with a code W in box 12 of your W-2) to be an "employer" contribution.

This includes contributions made by the employer (if any) PLUS any contributions made by the employee through payroll deduction. So your spouse's contributions are part of the "employer" contribution.

So you don't want to change it because TurboTax is handling it correctly.
