Tax Year Prior to 2020: I did not have an income in MI, do i need to file a return for MI?

Since you didn't earn any money in MI, you don't need to file there if you lived in another state.  However, if you lived in MI, but worked in another state, then you do need to file a return for MI as a Resident. 

If you moved to MI, and just didn't earn any money since your move, then you can file a Part-Year return for the other state, and nothing for MI.
