Question

taxable bond interest from states outside of SC is not flowing to SC return as addback correctly

    There have been a few instances of this happening, but usually with imported 1099-INT or 1099-DIV forms.

     

    Several folks got it to work right be deleting any 1099-INT or 1099-DIV forms containing tax-exempt interest on them, and then re-entering them and typing them in manually.  Don't import them, don't upload as PDF or picture...go thru the steps to type them all in manually. Make sure you lump all the non-SC $$ together as one entry as "Multiple States".  (you can also indicate any US Territory $$ separately too, as those bond $$ are also exempted from SC taxation).
