Question

The Ohio screen Summary of Taxes Paid to Other States is inaccurate and does not pull the correct amount from IT RES line 3. Is there a software update coming?

If filing in multiple states, always complete the non-resident return first to ensure accurate calculations when claiming  credit for any taxes paid to another state on your resident state return.

I did that. The Ohio return still did not pull the correct data.

TurboTax says "There is an update to the Ohio program you will need to get." But there's no way to get this update that I can see.

There is no Ohio Form IT RES.

In the Ohio interview, when you are presented with the amount of income subject to double taxation, you are allowed to change it if it is incorrect.  A common example: if the income is taxed by the other state but Ohio allows the Business Income Deduction, for the same income, then the amount subject to double taxation is 0. You need make that change.
