Travel nurse in DC

I am a travel nurse who will be working in DC for 3 months. My permanent home is in DE and my temporary home is in MD while I am working. I will not be living in DC. My DC employer sent me the DC D4 form, however, I am reading online that I need to complete the D4A instead (as a non-resident).

If this is the case, do I leave the temporary DC address section blank on the D4A form?

You may want to contact your employer to see if the D4A is correct- the nonresident form indicates no withholdings because you are exempt from DC taxes.  Even though you are a nonresident, you would still have to file a DC tax return to pay taxes on income earned in DC.
