TT Deluxe 2023 for Mac. Update changed a manually entered interest income by 400%.
I had already finished and e-filed my taxes in TT Deluxe 2023 for Mac. Went back yesterday to retrieve some information. Program insisted on installing an update. When the program rebooted, the amount owed (from taxes already filed) the amount jumped from roughly $2,600 to $4,600. After researching the issue, I discovered one of my manually entered entries for interest income had been changed from $4,264 to $16,264.
The program did not advise me the calculations and amount "Due" had changed. TurboTax doesn't make it easy to report an error such as this.
