Question

Turbo Tax does not seem to be picking up income from sale of a home on my State Taxes. I moved from PA to VA 1/4 of the way through the year. Am I missing something?

Since all the capital gains were earned in PA, would I only report that income to PA?

If the sale is taxable, and it occurred while you were a Pennsylvania resident, it would only be taxable by Pennsylvania.

If you have a capital gain from the sale of your main home, you may qualify to exclude up to $250,000 of that gain from your income, or up to $500,000 of that gain if you file a joint return with your spouse. Publication 523, Selling Your Home provides rules and worksheets.
