Question

Turbo tax is not allowing me to e-file my state tax return

I was able to e-file my federal return but not my ny state return

If you filed Federal by itself earlier, and tried NY later...then you won't be able to e-file NY until the Federal file is "Accepted" by the IRS sometime during the seek after 12 Feb.

 

IF the IRS rejects tie initial filing...then you can correct that and send both together when you try again.

 

No state e-file that I know of, will be submitted until the IRS computers accept the Federal e-file.

 

(or...maybe you didn't put in your NY ID properly? )
