TurboTax 2018 - State Download Not Working

Hello,

The year is 2023 and I am trying to open and amend my 2018 Tax Return; because I filed it late in 2020, so it is still within 3 years and everything works perfectly. The problem is when it gets to STATE TAXES and wants to perform the "review check" and prompts me to download the CA state forms.

It clearly states that I need to call "Sales and Services" and shows the Amount: 0$ and Serial Number; but it appears no one I called can help me actually get a "State Product Confirmation Number". I spoke to a few agents and it seems Intuit "blocked access" to anything prior to 2019; so does anyone have an MSI or some sort of install program for TurboTax 2018 - California - state download?

Is there any way to "download" my FREE State with TurboTax 2018 Deluxe?

TurboTax does not support tax year 2018. If you are filing for a tax refund the amended return had to be filed on or before April 15, 2022 or if a 2018 extension was filed on or before October 15, 2022. The refund will not be paid after those dates.

If you have taxes owed there is no limitation on when the amended return can be filed.

You should seek out a local tax professional for the 2018 amended return if taxes are owed.
