TurboTax did not attach other State Tax Return to New Mexico Tax Return
Beware of TurboTax e-file mistakes.
My son just received a letter from the New Mexico Tax Revenue that said that my son claimed a credit for taxes paid in Nebraska, but he did not attache the Nebraska Tax Return. The printout from TurboTax showed that it was included (there were two copies of Nebraska tax return, one within New Mexico filing and a separate one for Nebrsaka), but TurboTax did not send it over during the e-file despite the huge fee to do e-file. Very disappointed. I want the e-file fee back.
