TurboTax says I worked in 4 non-resident states this year. It's correct, but no numbers or text any of the state box 15-20 fields & no extra pages. How does it know this?

In the Personal Info section, there was a question "Did you work in any other states?"- this is probably where Turbo Tax got the information. When you prepare the states, you will be able to allocate the state source income.
