Unable to Enter Allocated Days for Detroit City Taxes (2023)

I am using TurboTax Deluxe and when I try to follow the instructions for Detroit nonresident tax allocation from TurboTax's site, I do not see the Working Days Allocation screen.  It goes straight to Prior Year's Tax Overpayment instead. I can't complete my taxes properly without being able to finish my city return.

I had to call to get assistance.  Based on information from this older question, the import of my W2 put a lot more into Box 20 than just the city of Detroit.  Once that field was cleared up to just say DETROIT, it was able to continue and enter my allocated days.

I did take the off chance that it is an issue that the W2 didn't have anything filled in for box 18 (Local Wages, tips, etc.), just in case TurboTax code wasn't defaulting to box 16 (State wages), but that didn't change the behavior.

There is something wrong with TurboTax for Detroit returns.

Did you get a resolution to this?  I called turbotax support, and was basically told that they made a bunch of changes this year, and this was one of them. When i asked how to do resolve this, i was told she didn't know, and would have to submit this to tier 2.  But since i never got the email with my case number, i am guessing she never actually sent anything up.
