VA Schedule adj question
Tax Year 2022 - I have some 1099-DIV $'s that are US Obligation exempt from VA state tax. I entered these $'s in turbotax VA tax return under "other subtractions from federal income". These $'s appear on VA schedule ADJ line 4 US Obligations and on line 6b with a code 99. Turbotax adds these two
[ lines 4 and 6b ] doubling the subtraction. I believe VA Taxation will send me a letter on this mistake. Does turbotax have a bug? I have done this for the last four years, no problem, this year I have a problem. These $'s should not appear on line 6b.
