Where can you enter the premium for long term care in VA state? Not itemized!

    Did you enter that on the Federal screens? Although you are not itemizing, the expense should flow from the federal to state.

    I thought if you enter in federal you cant deducted on VA State!

    Long-Term Care Premiums Deduction may be entered at the screen Here's the income that Virginia handles differently in the Virginia state income tax return.

     

    Select Start/Revisit to the right of Long-Term Care Premiums Deduction.

     

     


    Long-term care insurance covers the cost of long-term care services, which usually are not covered by traditional health insurance, Medicare or Medicaid.
