got email said my taxes declined log back on to turbo tax it would be resolved i did not see any difference.

It may have been a software update where you would not see a difference but it would allow your return to be processed. A rejected return is not always tax related. This year has been full of delays. The IRS was delayed with many of their forms. The states carry things from the federal to the state, so they had delays. Once you have run through your program and do the review, you are set to file,

The VA form 760 begins with the federal AGI. Unlike federal, there is a deduction for your personal exemption so it mixes some of the federal and goes on its own.
