W2 wrong address and state

I moved to a different state where I work and live; I work remotely full time.

I changed my address with my employer, but they overlooked it when creating the W2s.  They provided my previous address and state on my W2.

I have moved from an income-tax-collecting state to a non-income-collecting state.  Thankfully, no taxes were withheld for the state collecting income.  How will it affect my federal return, having the wrong state and address on my W2?

Thank you

The IRS knows that people move.   Use the address on your tax return where you live now so that the IRS has the address to send you a letter or a check.   If you lived in the "old" state during 2024, you will need to file a part-year return for that state.
