I live in Massachusetts but earned $3000 in CT. It is appearing on form Sch CT-SI as both wages AND business income.  Making my gross income in Connecticut $6000 (Line 15) when it should be $3000. Please help.

For CT the wages initially are allocated based on the form W2 entries in the federal "Wages & Income" section using the state boxes 15-17.  First verify those entries.

Next, return to your CT state interview and "Edit" it.  After the income interview section you will arrive at the allocation pages. Be sure only "Wages (W2)" are allocated to CT and there is no allocation to CT for any Schedule C business.
