What credits/benefits do you get claiming non-resident children on taxes

Nonresident aliens. They live in Mexico and I am here in the USA.

For tax year 2020 there are no credits that non-US citizen dependents qualify for.

 

For tax years 2018 and after non US citizen dependents will not qualify for either the child tax credit nor the other dependent credit.  The non-citizen dependents would also not qualify you for the Earned Income Tax Credit.

so it will be useless to add them to my tax return right?

You are correct.  No need to have them on your return.
