This is the first time I file taxes in the US. I don't know what I am supposed to put if it asks if I lived in the state the whole year, since I moved here in October.

If you have moved here in October with a Green card, then you would be a dual status resident for 2024.  You became a US Resident for tax purposes when you became a Green card holder.  So all of your income from the time you received the Green Card until the end of the year regardless of where it was earned will need to be included on your US tax return.  You will file a 1040 form as a US Resident.

Your state of residence will be the state you moved to in October.  You will be a part year resident and only need to include income earned while .

    NON RESIDENT ALIEN

If you are a non-resident alien, your return must be filed on Form 1040NR, which cannot be prepared using TurboTax.  You can use TT’s partner, sprintax:

You may need to file 1040NR if you are a non-resident for tax purposes.

You might look at this link for SprinTax for more information about filing 1040-NR

Do you have a "Green Card" ?

If not, which Visa do you have?

Here is an IRS link about residency for tax filing.
