This comes into play if you and/or your spouse were a resident of another state for all or part of the tax year.  In that event, you'll need to apportion your gross income so that your Colorado tax is calculated based only on income received in Colorado, or from sources within Colorado.

 

If this is your situation, you'll need to include Form 0104PN, Part-Year Resident/Nonresident Calculation Schedule with your Colorado tax return.
